The piano songs of Billy Joel were a huge influence on me growing up, from the carnival-tinged musings of Joel's most famous song, "Piano Man" to the pop throwback songs like "Longest Time" and "Uptown Girl," Joel's melodies and piano stylings have been a continuous source of inspiration in my own playing.

I'm happy to bring to you a solo piano album of some of my favorite selections from his work, and hope listening to them brings you as much as it does for me to play them.
